United Electric Power (UEP) has evolved from a small motor repair shop, General Electrical Specialty that started in 1928, to one of the fastest growing business firms in Long Island, NY.

In 1993, Jerry DiCunzolo, implemented an expansion plan that was based on two key objectives: Build an organization consisting of the best people in the industry; Purchase key competitors to increase market share. UEP is continuously growing both physically and in market share. In 2004, UEP purchased a 120,000 square foot building at 270 Park Avenue in Garden City Park, NY, with the objective of consolidating several of our locations and service facilities.  It is now the new home of our Corporate Headquarters, Supply Division, Commercial Division, Counter, Warehouse, Repair Shop and Panel Fabrication Shop. CONGRATULATIONS TO JIM DOYLE..... he is the lucky winner of the Grand Prize   "Cruise for 2"

Our March Gladness Open House was a tremendous success. The seminars were all well attended, the #9 Dodge Charger straight from a win of the Golden Corral 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway was a real hit and we gave away many raffle prizes. Our customers were treated to breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as free 10 minute neck massages.
